MINISTER’S MEAL AND A MOVIE – November 6th – 5pm with Guest!

Dinner starts at 5 pm – all people and families are welcome – childcare will be provided! (Bring the kid’s pajamas as they will watch a movie in the latter part of the night.)  (Please bring a salad or dessert to share, if you are able.)

Our theme is the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s recommendations to churches.  And, we have a SPECIAL GUEST:  JAMIE SCOTT, who has been the UCC person assigned to the TRC.  He has retired, but continues on a part time basis, working with the TRC.  He will be showing us a few videos on survivors of residential schools, colonialism and we will have handouts on the TRC`s recommendations to the churches.  Come to learn and discuss and find a way forward, together!  ALL ARE WELCOME!!
