October 6- Outreach -Parkdale Food Centre/Food Bank Sunday

October 18 & 19 – Fall Rummage Sale – Please be sure that you bring your donations when you can access the church. Kassia is in office Monday-Thursday from 9 am – 2pm.

October 26 – Woodroffe United Church Fall Bazaar. Saturday October 26 from 9am-1pm. 207 Woodroffe Avenue. Items available include : China and kitchenware, books, bake tables, gift baskets, tools, white elephant, silent auction, toys, Christmas decorations, jewelry, small furniture and more.

October 27 – Soupalicious- The Debra Dynes Family House supports struggling local communities in tough times. If you want to join this team in their good work, then consider attending a festive fall soup fundraiser called Soupalicious. Enjoy as many bowls of soup as you’d like prepared by local chefs. Participating restaurants include The Whalebone, Petit Bill’s Bistro and Del Piacere. This event takes place on Sunday October 27 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Carleton Heights Community Centre in west central Ottawa, about ten minutes away from KUC. The address is 1665 Apeldorn Avenue in Ottawa. Cost is $25 per person. Tickets can be purchased online at: www.eventbrite.com/e/soupalicious-ottawa-2024-tickets.
