REFUGEE SUPPORT PROJECT 

There will be a general meeting of the KUC Refugee Project on Tuesday January 12/16 from 7 – 9 pm

in the Sanctuary. Topics to be presented are; an update by Denise, training about our Duty of Care obligations to the UCC, a few Arabic phrases for greeting our family members, and information about English – Arabic translation Apps.
After the general meeting we will break into task groups.
We have requested a family from the BVOR list that was distributed on Tuesday. There were 200 Syrian families on that list. If we are unsuccessful with the current request we will reapplyon Friday when the next list is released. They expect an additional 100 families will be available at that time.
