How do I become a member or transfer membership?
Becoming a member of Kitchissippi United Church

Membership at Kitchissippi United Church is a combination of all registered members from Kingsway, Northwestern and Westboro congregations. These "members" are found in each individual roll book (See Historic Roll).

Official members of Kitchissippi United Church; are consider  "adherents".  An adherent is someone who is involved with the church, and attends regularly, but hasn't taken the final step to becoming a member.

Once can become a ‘member' by contacting the church Office or Ministers.

Transferring your membership IN or OUT of Kitchissippi United Church

Congregation Members coming to KUC from another ‘United' church can have their membership transferred IN by contacting the church office and asking for a Transfer IN. The same procedure is conducted for a request to transfer OUT.

Transfer OUT- The Office Admin will draw up a letter and or a Transfer Certificate.  The Minister must acknowledge and sign the certificate along with the clerk in Session (Council Secretary).  Office Admin will make a copy of the certificate and then note the change as a statistic.  Certificate is then mailed to the church requesting the transfer.
